Die beiden Beitr\u00e4ge setzen sich mit dem Ph\u00e4nomen des zeitlichen Verlaufs, mit dem Synchronen, dem Simultanen sowie mit dem Nacheinander auseinander. Hierbei entwickeln die K\u00fcnstler besondere Formen imagin\u00e4rer Zeitmaschinen<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><br>Die in Israel geborenen und heute in New York lebenden K\u00fcnstlerin Shlomit Lehavi, die vorwiegend in den Bereichen New Media und Mehrkanal-Video arbeitet. In ihrer Videoinstallation <em>Time Sifter <\/em>erforscht sie das kollektive Ged\u00e4chtnis, das kollektive Vergessenund das zeitbasierte Medium Video als aktuelle Zeitmaschine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201e<em>Time Sifter <\/em>ist ein von den Betrachtern gesteuerter Raum, der in Bildern und Sound gebettet ist\u201d, sagt Shlomit Lehavi, \u201ees geht um das Thema einer Zeit-maschine im digitalen Zeitalter. Es ist wie eine Zeitreise durch Bewegung, Raum und Klang.\u201d Die Projektionsfl\u00e4che, die einem Totempfahl \u00e4hnelt, besteht aus einer Stahlkonstruktion mit runden Holzsieben, die in Istanbul per Hand hergestellt und mit speziellem Projektionsmaterial versehen wurden. Es repr\u00e4sentiert sowohl den Mechanismus als auch die Metapher des Zeitsichtens (Zeitsiebens).<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"slider-box\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t    <div class=\"content-slider\">\n\t\t\t <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\n\t\t\n\n\n<p>Das von der K\u00fcnstlerin aufgenommene Videomaterial stellt die Bewegung durch den Raum an verschiedenen Orten innerhalb der letzten zehn Jahre dar. Die Wie-derholung \u00e4hnlicher Handlungen an unterschiedlichen \u00d6rtlichkeiten \u2013 Reise, Arbeit, die Rolle des Flaneurs \u2013 stellt eine Reihe von Verbindungen \u00fcber Zeit und Raum her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Besucher spielen eine bedeutende Rolle f\u00fcr das Funktionieren dieser Zeitmaschine: \u201eJedes Sieb l\u00e4sst sich um die eigene Achse drehen (was die Besucher entscheiden k\u00f6nnen). Jede Drehung veranlasst das Springen zum n\u00e4chsten Video; die Besucher haben somit die Kontrolle \u00fcber die Gestaltung des Raumes, die Videosequenzen und das narrative Moment. Die Arbeit <em>Time Sifter <\/em>versucht, einen Dialog \u00fcber Zeit und Raum im digitalen Zeitalter anzuregen.\u201c (S. Lehavi)<br><br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die neue Arbeit <em><em>The Reversing Machine (A Theatre of Kairos and Chronos)<\/em> <\/em>die die britischen K\u00fcnstler Sam Belinfante und Simon Lewandowski speziell f\u00fcr diese Ausstellung angefertigt haben. Die Installation spielt auf den Begriff <em>Kairos<\/em> als einen <em>g\u00fcnstigen Zeitpunkt<\/em> im Gegensatz zu <em>Chronos<\/em>, dem<em> zeitlichen Verlauf<\/em>,an. Im Zentrum der Installation steht ein konstruierter Mechanismus, der von den K\u00fcnstlern sogenannte <em>Time-Setter<\/em> oder <em>Chronocrator<\/em>, der versucht, die zeitliche Wahrnehmung durch das Vor- und Zur\u00fcckspielen verschiedener Maschinen zu visualisieren. Simon Lewandowski: <em>The Reversing Machine (A Theatre of Kairos and Chronos)<\/em>, 2012<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t                <\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t            \t\t\t    <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\n\t\t\n\n\n<p>Dieses Palindrom ist eine k\u00fcnstlerische Reflexion \u00fcber das gegenw\u00e4rtige Leben mit seinen zahlreichen simultan gesteuerten Prozessen und sich st\u00e4ndig wiederholenden Handlungen. \u201eDas zentrale Element (das im direkten und im \u00fcbertragenen Sinne das Herzst\u00fcck darstellt) ist eine kinetische Skulptur in der Form eines Wendegetriebes, das sich selbst umkehrt und dabei verschiedene vorw\u00e4rts und r\u00fcckw\u00e4rts verlaufende Mechanismen in einer Endlosschleife antreibt.\u201c Die Getriebewelle treibt unterschiedliche Maschinen an (ein Plattenspieler, ein Diaapparat, eine sich bewegende Lampe, etc.) \u2013 und kehrt sich dann um.
